Dr Geoff Coughlin is an Australian trained urologist who subspecialises in prostate disease, prostate cancer and robotic surgery. He commenced the robotic prostatectomy programs in Brisbane, Queensland at both the Royal Brisbane and Wesley Hospitals.
Dr Geoff Coughlin has one of the largest experiences in Robotic Prostatectomy in the Southern Hemisphere with an operative experience in excess of 1500 cases.
He co-authored the first Australian series of robotic partial nephrectomy (removal of kidney tumour with preservation of the kidney).
Dr Coughlin also presented the first Australian series of Robotic Radical Cystectomy at the 2012 National Bladder and Kidney Cancer Symposium.
He specialises in the testing for and management of prostate cancer.
